A charming, solid wood piece with beautifully deep drawers that just needed a bit of TLC.

I fully cleaned this inside and out with sugar soap. Fully stripped the old 'orange' wax build-up accumalated over many years, mostly with household polish, and rewaxed to reveal the wood’s natural warmth and character. Crafted with dovetail joints and traditional tongue-and-groove panels to the base and back, this heavy piece showed real quality and craftsmanship. I finished it off with chunky wrought iron cup handles.

This was a timeless, homely piece that was rehomed at an cottage Airbnb in the local Forest of Dean.
